Bestbier Sawmills is a Proudly South African company that has designed and is producing locally a range of swing-saws that compete very successfully with the best in the world.

The company is five years old, and is situated in the small town of Trompsburg in the Free State – the heartland of the South African farming community. The Bestbier swing-blade sawmill is one of the most robust saws in its class, is manufactured from steel, and operates with an accuracy variable of only 1 millimetre. It fits onto a standard long wheelbase bakkie, and is very easy to transport.

The saw can cut between 2 and 8 cubic metres per 8 hour shift, and has a tungsten tip blade that can cut any kind of wood –hard or soft.

Easy to install and operate, only the best parts are used to build the saws – giving them an extended, trouble-free lifetime.

Bestbier delivers country wide, and do commissioning and training.

We have also developed a re-saw with single or multi blade that can cut up to 40 metres of wood per minute.
